About iPhone IP Address
iPhone IP Address is a small, free utility site that has helped people find their IP address since 2011. It is built for iPhone and iPad users, but works in any modern browser.
What the site does
- IP lookup: shows the public IP address your connection uses, plus your ISP and approximate location.
- Speed test: measures download speed, upload speed and ping.
- Guides: short, plain-language help for finding, changing and understanding your IP address in iOS Settings.
How it works
When you open the home page, the address your connection used to reach us is read from the request through Cloudflare, our hosting provider, and its registered ISP and location details are looked up. If that is unavailable, your browser asks a public IP lookup service instead. The map uses OpenStreetMap. Location is approximate and based on your ISP's records, so it usually shows a nearby city rather than your exact address.
How we keep guides accurate
Each guide is written as short, step-by-step instructions for current versions of iOS (17 and later) and shows the date it was last updated. iOS menus change between versions, so each guide notes that names can differ slightly. If something on your iPhone does not match, tell us and we will check it and fix the page.
Our approach
We keep the site fast, free of clutter and honest about what an IP address can and cannot reveal. For example, IP location is approximate and never shows your street address. Read our privacy policy to see what data is involved.
Independence
iPhone IP Address is an independent site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Apple Inc. iPhone, iPad, iOS and Safari are trademarks of Apple Inc. The site may show advertising to cover its costs, and advertising does not influence what the guides recommend.
